Final Cut

We decided to make a few more changes to our final cut. For example, making the clip of the hand shorter and not having the different angle of the hand. This is because once the other members of my group had spoken about what I had done, we decided that it did not give the effect I wanted it to. Another change I made was taking out the blur because I had added it in there to see what it looked like and forgot to take it out as it did not look very effective.

First final cut

This is our final cut. However I still do not feel that the first bit is very clear that it is a flashback. I think the parts that need to be changed is the part where the 'doll' flickers from black and white to colour. I think it needs to be a quicker pace to ensure it confuses the audience. I also think the part with the hand needs to be altered because the idea is for it to make the audience feel disorientated however I am not sure it does. I really like how it has turned out after 1.02 minutes. I think that if I were to do it again, I would possibly cut the parts before and start from that point and then film some of the '8 hours after'.

How did you attract/address your audience?

The methods we have used to attract our audience is by including the two main characters in the opening that are in the age range of our target audience. We only included females which I think we should have also included at least one male character so that it would be easier for our male audience to relate. We will target our audience by putting adverts on social media as the majority will have at least one type of social networking site. We will put adverts on bill boards in places that our target audience frequently visit such as train stations and shopping centres. We will put adverts in magazines like vogue and ok! as well as newspapers like the sun and the daily mail. Our secondary audience would include both genders 25 and above. These could include the parents, family or friends of our primary audience.
